Filemaker pro helper server

Filemaker Pro is an incredibly versatile application.

It is possible to develop applications in the short term for inventory management, production planning, customer management, POS applications and more.

These applications are very user-friendly and it is easy for users to make adjustments themselves and/or program additional features.

Working with Filemaker Pro also has its limitations: some functions are very time-consuming to program and often that one application that you or your customer would like to use is missing.

To solve this problem, I developed dServer. Thanks to years of experience with Filemaker and expertise in programming, I can better meet the needs of customers.

dServer is an application that works in tandem with Filemaker Pro or other web apps to provide additional functionality. This way, you can enjoy the convenience of existing or familiar apps.

dServer already has many functions:

-Integration of payment terminals, both CCV Online and Atos wordline payment terminals can be linked to Filemaker through dServer.

-Barcodes, with dServer you can request bitmap barcodes and place them in container fields.

dServer also allows you to print labels in ZPL, EPL, ESC/POS etc. which works faster and better than with the available raster drivers and also works on iOS.

-DPD integration, with dServer you can easily link Filemaker to DPD so that you can easily create shipping labels from Filemaker itself.

-PDF conversion and manipulation, with dServer you can remove PDF layers, mirror PDF files and manipulate them.

-Autonomous printing from iPad/iPod/iPhone.

It is possible to print via airprint from Filemaker, however, sometimes you may prefer not to have the intermediate print menus or want to be able to print to non-compatible printers.

With dServer, you can generate a pdf and send that pdf to a Windows PC which then handles the actual printing.

This is also a very interesting feature for web applications, making it easy to automate printing of html or pdfs from the browser (automatically to a specific printer, with certain settings).

-Sounds, with dServer it is possible to play sounds on another PC, think of kitchen applications where a bell rings in the kitchen when a new order is taken.

-Serial and tcp communication, with dServer you can send data from Filemaker to the serial port or a tcp port.

-Automatically find files, find files based on the filename or a pattern, and import them into Filemaker.

-Postgresql synchronization, with dServer you can export tables from Filemaker and directly import them into postgresql, dServer then creates the columns you need, container data can also be transferred with this.

this does not require Filemaker Server unlike most solutions.

The reverse is also supported, dServer converts the data from the postgresql server into a format that Filemaker can read very quickly. This is a very performant solution.

-dServer allows you to extend Filemaker Pro with functions in python, python is a very popular and versatile programming language,

because dServer was programmed in python, you can add your own scripts to dServer, dServer also has the ability to communicate with Filemaker Server, making the possibilities endless.
