Filemaker Pro barcode automation

Filemaker Pro is a very user-friendly and powerful application to automate business processes.

With the Filemaker Go app for iOS, these applications also work on the iPhone, iPod & iPad.

However, scanning barcodes is not always as fast and ergonomic here.

You can of course use the camera to scan a barcode, but for 100 barcodes or more, that doesn't work so smoothly.

A few years ago I developed a holder to easily solve this problem,

this allows you to combine an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod) with wireless Bluetooth scanners from Datalogic & Honeywell.

This combination allows the use of Filemaker Go for various applications in the warehouse, goods receipt, stock scanning, automating returns, etc.

There are also numerous applications in the production environment, raw material tracing, inventory management, automating packaging and unpacking.

The camera remains available with this holder, so you can continue to use photos in your application.

The holder is 3D printed in flame-retardant ABS, which is a sturdy and safe material.

I also developed software to simplify the control of label printers, so that you can easily and quickly print labels from Filemaker without a driver.

In this way, Filemaker is a productive solution for all barcode-based solutions.
